Team’s Up – Jota and Kühn start as Celtic go for 4IAR

Brendan Rodgers has named his Celtic team for this afternoon’s SPFL Premiership meeting against Dundee United. The Scottish Champions can clinch the title with a point against Jim Goodwin’s side and will be eager to get across the line with three points in Tayside.

The Irishman has made two changes from the team that thrashed St Johnstone with Nicolas Kühn and Jota coming into the team.

Vil Sinisalo starts in goals with Kasper Schmeichel still missing through injury.

The back four is unchanged with Greg Taylor, Liam Scales, Cameron Carter-Vickers and Alistair Johnston.

Skipper Callum McGregor starts in the middle of the park with Arne Engels and Reo Hatate.

Daizen Maeda starts through the middle with Nicolas Kühn and Jota on the wings.

Subs: Bain, Trusty, Idah, McCowan, Schlupp, Kenny, Bernardo, Forrest, Ralston.

Celtic can make it 4IAR with a point today which would be the club’s thirteenth title in fourteen years. The club have secured the title at Tannadice over the last twenty years, winning 1-0 back in 2008 to give Gordon Strachan’s side 3IAR. Then in 2022, Ange Postecoglou’s side confirmed the title with a 1-1 draw at Tannadice.

The game will be live on Sky Sports at 11:30 with one hour of build up before the match gets underway at 12:30.
