Nicholson and Wilson should hold a media conference and put themselves under proper scrutiny rather than releasing propaganda videos from their own in-house media team.
It has been widely known that Peter Lawwell was about to retire yet they have to throw in this entirely unchallenged allegations of threats and intimidation to kick the Celtic support hours before an important match. Just like the scandalous Sunday Mail story they placed a few weeks ago before another big game that Celtic lost.

This latest video was posted around two hours prior to Celtic’s disastrous 2-1 defeat at the hands of Dundee United at Tannadice.
It was Wilfried Nancy’s fourth consecutive defeat as Celtic boss and the first time the Hoops have lost four games on the trot since 1978.
The Frenchman is now under huge pressure to keep his job just two weeks since his appointment. But, according to the Nicholson it appears he is not at threat of facing the sack. Here is everything that was said by the Celtic CEO and the interim Chairman of Celtic PLC, who calls for unity in a video attacking the Celtic support yet again…

Q: Michael, how disappointed are you that Peter Lawwell has felt the need to stand down as chairman?
Michael Nicholson: “I’m hugely disappointed. It’s a sad day for Celtic. I think it’s sad because one of our colleagues has felt the need to stand down from his role. Peter’s a Celtic fan first and foremost, but he’s been a great colleague, a great leader for Celtic, both as chief executive and more recently as chairman, as we’ve enjoyed great success on and off the pitch. But it’s a sad day for Celtic because of the reasons behind Peter’s decision to stand down.”
“I know it’s a decision that weighed heavily on him. It’s not an easy decision, but I think he’s made the decision for himself and for his family because of the abuse and because of the threats that were directed towards him. Those are behaviours that we’ve seen from perhaps a very small minority of the Celtic support, but those are behaviours that are completely unacceptable.

“Most recently, we had a situation where three of our colleagues were assaulted at Celtic Park on Sunday night after the match. As I say, these behaviours and conduct are completely unacceptable. For me, they’re not Celtic. They don’t sit with the values of Celtic supporters and the Celtic family. As a board, it strengthens our resolve to do the right thing for Celtic and to take this club forward together for the future.”
Q: At board level, you now do that with Brian Wilson as interim chairman. How will he go about moving the club forward in a united way?
Michael Nicholson: “I look forward to working with Brian and the rest of the board to do that and I’m grateful to Brian for taking the role as interim chairman. From the board’s perspective, we will now look at the composition and succession for the board and we’ll look to take the club forward and to continue to support the operations on and off the pitch because, as I say, we want the best for Celtic.”
Q: How solid is your resolve to get behind the new manager? Difficult situation for him, he’s not at the best start since he’s come in, but how solid is your resolve to get behind him as we move into the future?
Michael Nicholson: “Absolutely solid. As I said, it’s not even two weeks ago when we spoke about Wilfried and his appointment. There’s never an easy time to start at Celtic, and it has been challenging. We’ve had some disappointing results, not least on Sunday. In that respect, I understand that the Celtic support are concerned about where we are.”

“I understand and I respect the right of every supporter to express their discontent and to share that with us, but we know where we want to go and step by step that’s all of our job is to support Wilfried, his team and the squad to take us where we want to get to. The starting point is now, we’ve been working, I met with Wilfried this week to discuss recruitment ahead of the January transfer window and also looking ahead to the summer transfer window because we know that we’ve got a project to support here. We’re excited about where we’re going to get to and that’s going to take time both, as I say, day to day within the training environment, but also month to month, window to window.”
“We know that when we get to that stage in the summer, hopefully having had success this season, we’ll be looking ahead to next season with great optimism with Wilfried and his team.”

Q: Your reaction to becoming interim Celtic chairman?
Brian Wilson: “Well, it’s certainly something I didn’t want in these circumstances and didn’t expect in any circumstances. I’ve been here a long time, I know Peter very well, I know what he’s given to the club, I know what the club’s achieved under him.
I think it’s really sad that he’s leaving with these pressures on him, and I think everyone has to reflect on that. But there’s a history that people’s achievements aren’t appreciated until they’re long gone, and hopefully within the fairly near future that the minority of Celtic supporters who don’t appreciate what Peter Lawwell has given to Celtic will come to do so, because he’s given a huge degree of success, a huge degree of stability, and he’s a major figure in the club’s history. I think that anyone who reflects on that will see far, far more positives than are maybe being mentioned today.”

Peter Lawwell was no different to a successful manager/player, there is a shelf life and a time to move on, overstay it and the legacy is soured.
For me he was a divisive figure with too much power at our club.

I’m not convinced Lawwell has quit because of abuse . He’s ridden far worse in the past. What is possible is that this time is that the board are spinning it this way. I think Lawwell knows that it’s all spun out of his control, and he can’t be arsed with what’s coming.

It always comes down to the fans fault , no I don’t accept this , accountability should rest with those in power who have made a laughing stock of our football club. The board are not football people . They make our decisions based on finance and their dividends. They claim they had one poor transfer window yet never replaced Kyogo , O’Reilly , Kuhn or Taylor , this over more than one window. Their lack of communication with the fans/shareholders is pathetic. Barring all the Green Brigade is idiotic if only a few have been involved in a misdemeanour. The AGM was a complete farce and sending a son as a substitute shows the lack of respect towards the shareholders. The board needs a reset but accountability must prevail . We have been here before with the Kelly and Whites. We moved on from that debacle, we can do it again
It all stinks of deflectionary tactics, OH LOOK, A SQUIRREL.
Any fan buying next years season tickets will only encourage the board to continue failing to address their mistakes, massive mistakes.
They’ve replaced decent players with sub-standard players. And they’ve replaced a decent manager with one that hasn’t got a clue.
Any financial expenditure by the fanbase sends these arseholes a signal of approval.
