Celtic open talks for Bosnian striker as window draws to a close

Celtic are reportedly in talks with FC Noah for Bosnian striker Nardin Mulahusejnović. The 6ft 3in forward has netted 5 goals in 6 Conference League games and has attracted interest from a number of clubs this month.

According to transfer journalist Rudy Galett, Celtic have opened talks with Noah over a deal. However, the Scottish Champions face competition as another Scottish club is said to be interested.

Austrian side Rapid Wien made a loan + €1.5m buy option for the attacker but this was rejected by Noah. Mulahusejnović has been at a number of clubs, scoring 71 goals and assisting 20 times in 239 appearances. The hit rate might be of concern but clearly he is a profile of player that the club have been looking at.

Tomas Cvancara was signed by Celtic on a loa to buy deal to compete with Kelechi Iheanacho. Celtic need firepower in attack, out wide as well as in the middle of the park. Martin O’Neill has asked that the club sanction moves for first team ready players, guys that can come in and help the squad.
