The Bhoys headed over to the German city yesterday to face the Bundesliga leaders this evening, in what will be the second-leg of our Champions League knockout round play-off.
Harry Kane’s goal gives Bayern the advantage
Kane scored the winner against Celtic last week at Celtic Park, with the Englishman being gifted a goal from non-existent marking in the penalty box in the second period of the match. The Hoops switched off at another crucial moment and for us to get better and improve at this level, we simply have to cut out silly mistakes such as this against top quality opposition.

Celtic finishes strongly and were unlucky not to get a draw
It was such a shame as Celtic had a real opportunity to get something from that game, but when it went 2-0, you really felt and feared the worst. It is a credit to the manager and his players’ though, that they dug in and showed a real determination not to be overwhelmed by the occasion, or the fact that tiny details had become their undoing against the might of Munich.

Maeda caused problems from the Bayern defence
Daizen Maeda caused all sorts of problems from the Bayern defence and we will be hoping for more of the same tomorrow night at the Allianz Arena. Bayern’s own star striker has also now been declared fit and likely to play, so will be included, according to his manager. Kompany said via BBC Sport Scotland: “It’s nothing really serious, we don’t have much time to relax. Tomorrow morning we will see how he feels, but I think it’s nothing too bad.”
