The Green Brigade have created some stunning displays at Hampden Park in recent times. The memory of their tribute to Bertie Auld in the Premier Sports Cup Semi-Final will last for some time. However, there will be no such display against theRangers this weekend as the SFA have blocked it, likely due to its connotations with the Easter Rising.
Instead, the ultras group have taken to social media to encourage all fans to play their part by bringing the Irish tricolour to the match. Their short post concluded with:
“On Easter Sunday, we go to war under the flag of Ireland.”
For Sunday’s match, the Celtic support has been denied the opportunity to rally behind the team with a tifo. We therefore encourage all fans to play their part by bringing the Irish tricolour to the match.
