There will be a silent protest at the next three Celtic matches, all of which take place at Celtic Park, starting tomorrow afternoon against Hibs and continuing at the Europa League match against Braga and the game against Motherwell next weekend…

The Celtic Fans Collective this morning released details of the protest which is designed to show the board what Celtic games without fans would sound like. The update from the Collective, released at 11am this morning states:
Following a successful protest against the Board at Partick Thistle over the weekend, we are writing to share the next agreed steps and actions in our campaign.
As the Celtic board continues to ignore the concerns of the Celtic support, we are launching a three-match home package which reflects their silence.
The silences are designed to reinforce the importance of Celtic fans to Celtic Football Club by demonstrating how a silent stadium is in nobody’s interest.
The silence during this weekend’s match against Hibs will once again represent the fanbase standing as the 12th Man – a powerful symbol of the influence and importance supporters hold within our club.
The upcoming silences during the Braga and Motherwell fixtures will mark the number of days the Celtic Board has failed to acknowledge the open letter signed by fans – a clear reflection of the disregard shown toward their own supporters.
We hope that the silent package may be called off, at any point, should reasonable progress be made by Celtic Football Club engaging in credible communication with supporters or there being movement in personnel from the Celtic board.
The Celtic board cannot continue to commodify our passion while ignoring our concerns.

The wish is clearly there from the support to engage with the Celtic Board in meaningful and credible communication and surely this is something that the Celtic Board must now do?. The longer they hold out the more damage is going to be done to Celtic as a club and to the relationship between the support and those in the boardroom. Celtic CEO Michael Nicholson has failed to speak directly to the support for a number of years.
A good leader leads from the front.

Celtic SUPPORTERS and Selective Fans ?
Aye Right.
Please drop the word SELECTIVE and replace with spoiled weans
What happens if Celtic score?🤫🤫
I don’t understand. Don’t you want the team to win those games ?
Board just cares about money, they don’t give a f about support. You’re punishing the club, not the board…
Hi Ewan, I’ve just loved Celtic for over 70 years and saw many Up’s and Down’s Victories and Defeats. Ive witnessed poor management and not so poor management, but my support has always been behind the Essence of Celtic.
That’s what makes me a supporter” faithful through and through.”
Do I think the board did the right thing this season? No I don’t, but that will not allow me to withhold my support for the team.
We have a young support coming through who are holding back such backing which creates division. They feel that they are part of a leadership that can dictate policy because we made an error in our signing policy.
So to me, withholding your backing for Celtic is a mortal sin as far as our club is concerned.
Fondest regards
Yours in Celtic
Hi Pat,
I have to explain myself. I understood that there was a plan to be silent FOR 12mns against Hibs then silent FOR 29ms against Braga.
I missed that it was for ONE minute at the 12mns mark on so on. It isn’t specified on the Cetic Fans Collective image.
My mystake
Long live the Hoops
It’s a misunderstanding
