Martin O’Neill has named his Celtic team for this evening’s Scottish Premiership clash with Falkirk. The Scottish Champions kick off the post-split games with the visit of the impressive Bairns.

O’Neill is able to welcome Alistair Johnston back into the squad and he starts on the bench alongside Kelechi Iheanacho, who had been a favourite to start. One person that does start after impressing at Hampden is club legend, James Forrest.

In goals, Vil Sinisalo starts.

In defence, Liam Scales returns to partner Auston Trusty at the expense of Benjamin Arthur. Tony Ralston continues at right back with Kieran Tierney at left back.

Callum McGregor captains the side and anchors the midfield alongside Arne Engels and Benji Nygren.

Daizen Maeda leads the line with James Forrest out right and Yang out left.
