Celtic Ultras the Green Brigade have raised over £20k after their weekend collection at Celtic Park. Ahead of Celtic’s game against Hearts, the group asked for supporters to assist with their annual food bank collection, something that has become tradition around the festive period.
In an update on Tuesday afternoon, the Green Brigade revealed the total amount raised as well as the significant contribution made towards food banks in Scotland.

The Green Brigade are currently banned from Celtic Park due to their ongoing disagreement with the club. Despite this, they were in attendance at the ground helping to stick to the values of the club, raising a fantastic amount and helping those that are in most dire need this Christmas.
Hopefully there will be some reconciliation between parties as the current situation at the club is unsustainable. The club require to meet with parties, engage with the fan media and help mend the fences after a bruising few months.
