Q: You mentioned progress. Were there signs of progress tonight?

Wilfried Nancy: “No, we had progress at a certain moment, yes. But again, this is not enough regarding what we wanted to do. So again, for this game, it’s not a good game. This is the first time that, since I’m here, that we struggled a lot. And this is the reality for this game. Now, previously, we had good moments, good opportunities. We had also good games at certain moments. We are working to be more consistent and we’re going to do certain things in the future to be also more consistent. But for the moment, yes, I can understand the concern, but this is the reality.

Q: Do you understand the enormity of Saturday against (the)Rangers as well? How massive it is and the enormity of the game in the context that you talk about?

Wilfried Nancy: “It’s a rivalry. I know Celtic against Rangers. I know that this is a rivalry game. I know what it means And we play this game. I do this job also for that, to play this kind of game. And we play, we want to play with passion. We know that, what does it mean to play a rivalry game? So again, tonight is tonight. We’re going to have more days to prepare the game and to rest also and to face this team.”

Q: On the evidence of tonight, Wilfried, do you feel this is a team that’s fighting for their manager?

Wilfried Nancy: “Yes. Tonight, it was difficult at certain moments, yes, but I have no concern with that.”

Q: Is Saturday a must-win game?

Wilfried Nancy: “Yes, like every game.”

  1. Instead of Desmond criticising the fans he should now realise that he should go through the Board like a dose of salts and ream out all the ” Self-important” clowns who are master-minding THE DECLINE of our great club . The decline co-incides with the appointment of Paul Tisdale ( October 2024) and he should be the first to go , taking the clowns who appointed him as he goes . He is the villain who apparently recommended ” Nancy” a prior under 14 year old “Girls” coach ?
I predicted after Nancy’s first game in charge ( on this forum ) that the chant by Christmas would be , ” Nancy , Nancy get to F**K ” and I wasn’t far wrong . The manager’s days are gone along with his , “Russell Martin” insane excuses —–He’s a dud !!!!!!

  2. It’s now damage limitation with Nancy. How much more pain will he be allowed to inflict before whoever is making the decisions at Celtic decides it is time? The answer to that question is…..a lot more. The future of certain individuals in power at the club is inextricably linked to that of Nancy. Get rid of him now and that would be an admission of failure on their part. So he will remain in post, play the same tactics and get the same results until….. I honestly don’t know. Maybe Auchinleck Talbot will make the decision for them.

  3. A so called footballing doctor, with the only capabilities of making ourselves vomit. Is also given a title of head of football operations?
    Tisdale has to go immediately.

Nancy is totally out of his depth also. Yet no manager is going to survive with such a couldn’t care less attitude, within our playing squad at present imo?
16 players used last night, and just how many could any manager work with, in trying to form a core group within our squad?
Nancy is only making things worse with his own ridiculous decision making, and will become the fall guy, sooner rather than later imo?

So even considering Tisdale and Nancy to be allowed to make the footballing decisions required in January? Would be no more than an act of footballing suicide for ourselves, that may take years to recover from imo?

This existing war between board and support, can only see ourselves suffering moreso imo?
Been looking for change since the summer, now we have got it, in a very unsavoury and unsatisfactory manner, that isn’t going to be fixed overnight either imo?

With such a desperate wimp of a performance on show. Can only conclude that that the number of players wanting out of the club, is far larger than those wanting to stay imo?
This is becoming a salvage situation, at only the half way stage of this season. And it never happened overnight either, as has been the case for the best part of this calendar year also.

Way too many culprits available, to pinpoint who actually is totally responsible for ripping the heart out of our club?
Yet no signs of everyone accountable, showing no signs of taking responsibility for there actions, which is evident within our own changing room at present imo?

Very hard to support such a toxic shitshow in operation, and feel it’s still going to become worse, than seeing any signs of improvement, for this season at least imo?
