Celtic slipped up in their title challenge after a home defeat to Hibernian. The visitors from Easter Rd won 2-1 on a controversial afternoon at Celtic Park as VAR reared its ugly head.
At 1-1 with around 20 mins to go, Celtic’s Austin Trusty was shown red after VAR told Matthew MacDermid to check the monitor. Then, there was a huge penalty shout that the team at Clydesdale House appeared to miss.
Blatant foul and shirt pull on Liam Scales, where he would've ended up in the area where the Hibs player headers it.
It is as clear a penalty as you will ever see. pic.twitter.com/HqqJVnVWo1

Moments before, the VAR intervened to have Auston Trusty sent off. The USA Internationalist appeared to hit the arms of the Hibs defender, something that MacDermid had a good view of. Replays make it all the more surprising that this decision was given as the Hibs player made a meal of it and bought the intervention from VAR. Richard King’s sending off last night might’ve played a part in the shambles that was the sending off of Trusty.
Robbed again by vindictively shocking decissions by both the totally biased referee and totally biased VAR . Celtic , however , should have games like this in the bag by Half-time . The truth of the matter is that horrendous recruitment over the last few seasons has left us with a bunch of players who are no better than any other team in the SPFL . MON is ” a proven , ” Man-manager ” but even he cannot get a tune out of ordinary , ” Bargain basement ” players .
Celtic are in disarray , at the moment and something drastic has to take place ; mainly in the Boardroom because these , are the , ” Self -gratifying” , salary theives who have created this mess . Let’s hope that Chris Sutton can bang the right heads together .
Surely the Scales fouls is worth fighting for?
that’s just bias too far!
