Interesting Adam Idah Sunday transfer update as £7m deal nears

Adam Idah appears set to depart Celtic before the end of the transfer window. The Scottish Champions were without the Irishman on Sunday as they drew a blank in a 0-0 draw with Rangers at Ibrox. The striker was recalled to Glasgow having completed a medical with Swansea City as Brendan refused to sanction a departure until a replacement was found.

In an update from Sky Sports’ Anthony Joseph, Idah has completed the second part of a medical as he nears a £7m move to Wales.

The update is interesting as it suggests that Celtic are making headways in getting a striker in the door with Kasper Dolberg the favourite. The Danish attacker came off the bench for Anderlecht on Sunday evening but it is expected that Celtic would make another bid for the ex-Ajax attacker. Hopefully there will be an update early on Monday as Celtic target the attacker. It has been confirmed that the club want three players in the door on deadline day.
